Actress Petra Dubayová and her partner Jakub Jablonský they are experiencing the most beautiful period of their lives. On August 10, they announced on the social network that they had a daughter on August 7, who was given the beautiful name Vesna. In a podcast for the Aktuality.sk portal, the actress has now revealed the details of the birth.
Jablonský was overcome by emotions after the birth of their daughter. “When the little one was born, he cried. But then I didn’t cry. It was such a very beautiful cry, so real, so happy, the happiest in the world. I was when the little one was born, I was completely calm, that nothing just bothered me, didn’t hinder me, I was completely, completely decorated,” said the actress from the successful series Dunaj, at your service.
She expected him to perceive it differently. “I thought that I would also experience it so much that I would be terribly moved, but I wasn’t at all, because I don’t think I had the strength anymore. And I just found such a complete moment of peace,” the actress confessed. Although today she no longer experiences such peace with her daughter, according to her, she enjoys this period very much.
She was preparing to give birth. “I am… You can’t prepare for that anyway, I went with Kubi to the preparation, I also listened to a million podcasts, read a million books, and actually it was different anyway. Because that… It’s completely unimaginable that they write those things there, and I only gradually came to realize that aha, this was what they were talking about there. It was definitely great that a person prepares for it, I definitely recommend it, but even so it is not possible to do it 100%“, she told the expectant mothers.
Petra revealed the details of the birth. “We went by that I was not born in Slovakia, so we decided to approach the place of birth and we actually rented a cabin there for two weeks, such a house, it was in nature, there was a lake nearby, every day we went for a walk and it was great. Friends also came to watch us, that we really had a program there every day“, she revealed.
Then came what everyone was waiting for. “And actually on on the tenth day of our stay, it came in the morning while I was practicing yoga. That too, I didn’t know I was already giving birth. Because the way you feel, when you’ve never experienced it, you don’t know what it is,” she admitted. So Jakub asked her if she wasn’t giving birth anymore and finally suggested that they go to the hospital. “Because we were eight minutes away, so we went to that hospital to ask, and they said I was giving birth” she mentioned.
And how did she cope? “I was still calm then, because it didn’t hurt yet. It didn’t start to hurt until the afternoon of that day and I wasn’t calm anymore. I was already screaming and crying. I know that I held him (Jakub Jablonský, editor’s note) very, very tightly and he managed it,” says Petra Dubayová, who admitted that she screamed so much during the birth that she lost her voice.
She could not praise the staff enough. “We were also lucky to have midwives, many of whom took turns with me there and I really encountered the fact that they praised me for everything, that I breathe beautifully. It was terribly pleasant after all kinds of scares that what they would tell me and how I had to know in advance because no one would help me there, it was not like that at all. They really helped me with everything there,” she admitted, about what she was worried about.
Her partner Jakub Jablonský was a great support for her. “He was there with me the whole time. He was absolutely the bravest. Because everyone says that I managed the birth, but I would really like to give the credit to him as well, because I think it is terribly difficult, that he is even more desperate in the fact that he cannot actually help me in any way. But he sees what’s happening to me, he sees how everyone there is doing something, and he only has to be present, which in my opinion is crazy, “added the former star of the marquis series Dunaj to your service.
