Dallas – The Man of Steel is flying high. A very good condition copy of Superman No. 1 from 1939 was auctioned at Heritage Auctions on Thursday for $9.12 million (the equivalent of almost 7.9 million euros). This makes the issue the most expensive comic ever sold at auction, US media reports.
