Ljubljana – Slovenes voted against the legalization of euthanasia in a referendum. Accordingly, around 53 percent of voters voted against a corresponding law on Sunday, while 47 percent voted for it, as the electoral commission announced after counting almost all votes. Parliament can now vote on a law on euthanasia again in a year at the earliest.
