Italian court annuls extradition of Carla Zambelli for carrying a weapon

The Court of Cassation, the highest level of legal power in Italy, annulled the extradition process of former deputy Carla Zambelli this Wednesday (1st). The decision annuls the understanding of a previous instance, the Criminal Chamber of the Court, which had authorized the extradition process. The information was confirmed by Zambelli’s defense to Jovem Pan.

The court understood that there were defects in the trial and that the case should go back to the Court of Appeal, by another group.
