Jerusalem – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accused of corruption, has officially asked his country’s president for a pardon. President Yitzhak (Isaac) Herzog’s office said on Sunday that he had received a formal request for clemency from Netanyahu. It is a letter from Netanyahu and a letter from his lawyer.
