Crete/Athens – The Greek coast guard discovered a boat that was unable to maneuver with 18 dead migrants off Crete. Two people survived, the Greek public broadcaster ERTnews reported on Saturday. The two rescued people told the emergency services that they had lost control of the boat during a severe storm. The migrants were then left stranded on the open sea without water, food or adequate protection.
