Many people from the older generation remember Christmas sleigh rides and playing in snowdrifts while returning from midnight mass. For years, one of the most frequently asked questions in December is: will there be snow for Christmas? As the days go by, the first ones are already appearing on the Internet. Among other things, the AccuWeather website has found something that fills us with optimism. Weather for Christmas Eve and holidays 2025. Will it snow?

According to the latest news, truly winter weather awaits us on December 24. Temperatures in many places in Poland will drop even to -6 degrees Celsius at night, and will not exceed 0 degrees during the day. This will create perfect weather conditions for snow! It will start raining early in the morning. Hard frosts and heavy snowfall are expected on December 24 in the Masovian, Łódź, Lublin and Podlaskie voivodeships. In the west and north of the country, temperatures will also be negative and snow will fall, although slightly less than in other regions. Either way, there are many indications that this year’s holidays will finally have snow, just like the ones we remember from the times of the Polish People’s Republic.
