Washington – The US Federal Reserve has cut its key interest rates as experts expected. The interest rate spread will be reduced by 0.25 percentage points to 3.50 to 3.75 percent, the Fed announced on Wednesday in Washington. It is the third key interest rate cut this year. The decision was made under difficult conditions as not all of the outstanding economic data had yet been published due to the temporary closure of federal authorities.
