(New) and () must participate, this Monday (6) and Tuesday (7), in hearings promoted by the group Derrubando Muros in which pre-candidates for the Presidency agree to have their answers evaluated, in real time, by a group of checkers.
The check will focus on the candidate’s coherence, evaluating what each of them has already said about the topic under discussion, according to the organizers. In a closed environment, pre-candidates will be interviewed by a group of four interviewers.
In 2022, Derrubando Muros took a public stance against the re-election of Jair Bolsonaro (PL). For these elections, the group’s coordinator, José César Martins, states that the organization “does not defend parties or candidacies” and seeks “a national, State project, capable of crossing governments”.
The group has support from names such as businessman Horácio Lafer Piva, jurist and former minister Miguel Reale Jr. and economist Samuel Pessoa.
Former Finance Minister Fernando Haddad (PT), pre-candidate for the São Paulo government, will also participate in a group hearing. Lula (PT) and Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) were also invited, but have not yet confirmed their participation, according to the group.
