O Vasco official agreement with Nike last Tuesday (09/12), but the team will still wear Kappa uniforms this Thursday (11/12)against Fluminense, in the first game of the semi-final of the Copa do Brasil 2025. This is because the The contract with Nike will only come into force in January.

At the beginning of January, the youth teams will use an exclusive Nike provisional kit to compete in the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior. The first team’s equipment will be presented and put on sale at the start of the Campeonato Cariocawhich begins on January 14th. The new definitive 1 shirt has already been leaked online (see below).
The pieces used by the base in Copinha will not be offered for sale.

The contract places the North American giant as exclusive responsible for all lines of uniforms – game, training, travel and casual – for professional teams, women’s football, youth teams and the entire coaching staff.
Nike at Vasco: contract length and amount paid
O signed agreement is valid until December 2032in a total of seven years. At the end of the fifth year, the parties will be able to negotiate adjustments. On a fixed basis, Nike will pay R$35 million per season. However, the value can reach R$42 million per season, considering sales, targets and bonuses.
The financial difference in relation to the agreement with Kappa is significant: the company that is leaving transferred around R$600 thousand annually, plus 13% royalties per item sold and R$300 thousand allocated to marketing.
