Gingerbreads that don't have to be aged. They will be perfectly soft by Christmas Eve

If you want to prepare gingerbread that does not have to be agedthen this recipe is for you. The key to success is to maintain the right proportions and cut slightly thicker cookies. Serve them in a Christmas tin, on a plate next to oranges and spruce branches, or wrapped in cellophane as a sweet gift for your loved ones.

To prepare this recipe, you will need:

  • 500 g of wheat flour type 450,
  • 150 ml of liquid honey,
  • 100 g of butter,
  • 40 g of fine sugar,
  • 3 eggs,
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda,
  • 1 pack of gingerbread spice.

Melt the butter with honey and sugar in a pot. Heat just until the ingredients are combined, but do not boil! Finally, add the gingerbread spice and stir. The mass should be uniform. Set aside to cool.

Pour flour and baking soda into a large bowl. Mix the dry ingredients and then add the previously prepared and cooled mass. Beat in the eggs. Knead a soft, elastic dough. Wrap them in cling film and put them in the fridge for 10 minutes.

Roll out the dough to a thickness of 5-7 mm, which will make them soft immediately). Cut out any shapes with cookie cutters.

Place the gingerbread cookies on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake at 180°C for 8-10 minutes. Make sure the gingerbreads don’t burn
