Vienna/The Hague – A driver fled from the Vienna police on the night of Christmas Eve and gave the officers a chase through the Brigittenau and Floridsdorf districts. He and his passengers were stopped there, as police spokesman Markus Dittrich reported on Christmas Day. The 23-year-old did not flee without reason: the Netherlands was looking for him with a European arrest warrant, and like his two companions, he was also under the influence of cannabis.
