The PT (Workers’ Party) called, through social media, for acts “for democracy” for January 8, 2026. The publications were made this Tuesday (Dec 30, 2025).
The date marks 3 years of on January 8, 2023, after the election of the president (PT) in the previous year. In the post, the party stated: “Remembering is resisting”.
Among the themes mentioned in the mobilization is the Dosimetry PL, by Congress on December 17, before the parliamentary recess.
On January 8th we have an appointment scheduled on the streets across Brazil. In defense of democracy. We don’t forget. ✊🏽🇧🇷

GOVERNMENT
In 2024 and 2025, President Lula participated in symbolic acts in memory of the 2023 attacks. There is still no confirmation whether Planalto will organize or whether the PT member will participate in an official demonstration in 2026.
