Caixa delays Mega da Virada draw due to operational problems and bettors complain online

Caixa Econômica Federal delayed the draw Mega da Virada 2025 this Wednesday (31). As a result, several bettors complained on social media.

The draw was scheduled for 10pm, with live broadcast on the institution’s YouTube and Facebook pages, but it didn’t happen and was already more than 25 minutes late.

When asked about the reason for the delay, Caixa had not responded until the last update of this report. In a broadcast on its YouTube channel at 10:30 pm this Wednesday (31), the bank only informed that the delay was due to the large number of bets, which broke a record this year.

Earlier, in a broadcast broadcast on its YouTube profile, the bank had already reported operational problems for other draws that were scheduled for this Wednesday afternoon (31).

With a prize estimated at R$1 billion, Mega da Virada 2025 will have the biggest bonus in the history of the special contest.
