The Trenčín police officers have started a criminal prosecution for the offenses of disorderly conduct and dangerous threats. In Trenčín, two men aged 26 and 63 physically attacked a 21-year-old taxi driver, threatening him with death and destroying the vehicle. Trenčín regional police spokeswoman Petra Klenková informed about it.

The incident took place in parking spaces reserved for taxi drivers. It was preceded by a verbal exchange between the participants in the conflict regarding vehicle parking. One of the suspects physically attacked the victim with repeated blows to the face and forehead. Subsequently, a second man also joined the conflict, who also physically attacked the victim with blows to the mouth and chin area.
“During the incident, one of the attackers repeatedly threatened the victim with death, grievous bodily harm, damage to the vehicle, and the threats were also directed at his family. The threats caused the victim a reasonable fear for his life and health, as well as for the safety of his loved ones,” added the spokeswoman.
According to her, the victim suffered injuries that required medical treatment. The police officers restricted the personal freedom of the suspects and, after completing the procedural steps, placed them in a police custody cell.
