Thousands of people evacuated due to landslide in Sicily

Rome – Italy is affected by heavy rainfall, especially the south of the country. After severe damage caused by Storm Harry in recent days, Sicily is now being hit by heavy rain. In the small town of Niscemi, around 1,000 residents had to leave their homes due to the risk of landslides.
