A widespread fight on a plane bound for Congonhas, in São Paulo, flared up again this Saturday (31). The confusion occurred before the takeoff of a Gol flight departing from Salvador, Bahia in 2023, and ended up causing a delay of around an hour. Passengers exchanged slaps, curses and hair pulling, while other people tried unsuccessfully to break up the confusion.

The confusion began after a passenger asked to change seats with another who was occupying the window, claiming to be accompanied by a child with special needs. The exchange would have been accepted, but, after changing places, the woman would have complained about the situation on the phone with her husband, using an insult heard by family members, which would have started the fight between two families who did not know each other.
