“What we saw was a combination of overcrowding, lack of planning and precarious infrastructure, in a context of favoring private interests to the detriment of security and public interest”, says Amanda.

The . Despite the turmoil, he says the party has been a success.

“The blocks did not perform simultaneously. It is common to have more than one block on the same route, obviously at different times”, says Nunes.

In addition to infrastructure, the councilor asks for an investigation into the party’s budget. The psolist states that, despite the sponsorship of R$29.2 million, there was a 37% drop in the number of chemical toilets compared to Carnival in 2025.

“We are talking about an event that involves millions of people and significant public resources. Investigating what went wrong is essential to prevent these mistakes from being repeated and to protect life”, she says.
