Bloco de Esquerda proposes reinforcement of extraordinary support, exemption from IMI and income subsidy for families affected by the storms.

Anyone who lost their home would be entitled to a subsidy extraordinary income based on IHRU values ​​for each municipality. The party proposes IMI exemption in 2026 for properties that suffered severe structural damage.

For traders and entrepreneurs who rent their premises: suspension of rent industrial and commercial, with the State directly compensating landlords.

The Block intends, by December 2026, stop evictions and complaints about contracts in private and permanent housing and commercial and industrial establishments in the affected municipalities.

To support first responders on the front line: supplement of 20% of base salary for each day of mission for relief, cleaning, security forces and military operators.

Looking at the speculation in the prices of basic necessities – food and hygiene products – the BE defends price surveillance and monitoring by ASAE in municipalities experiencing calamity.

To accelerate the reconstruction of infrastructure in the affected territories, the Bloc proposes a 100% public financing for works on municipal roads and networks, with an immediate advance of 25%.
