A (PJ) is carrying out searches at the Mesão Frio Chamber, Vila Real district, this Wednesday, in an investigation that will be related to public works in the 2017/2021 mandate, according to a source from the municipality.
Contacted by the Lusa agency, the president of , Paulo Silva, confirmed that PJ agents are in the municipality building todaystating that the case will be related to public works contracts and also the hiring of human resources in the mandate covering 2017 to 2021.
This authority was led between 2009 and 2021 by Alberto Pereira, elected by the PS. Paulo Silva, who was elected president in 2021 and 2025 also by the PS, also said that the municipality is collaborating with the PJ investigation.
