Ângela Vairinhos Dias, an animal carer in Albufeira, reports the disappearance of two cats that she had been following and feeding for several years on the street where she lives.
The caregiver explained to POSTAL that “at the beginning of 2023, a black and white cat appeared on the street where I live in Albufeira, which I started feeding daily and leaving water, as I have done with others”.
As he adds, “he was also joined by a black cat who had been here since 2021. The two cats were inseparable, they were fed by me and recently the kennel that existed here was replaced by a larger, safer one”.
According to Ângela Dias, on Monday, January 26, a neighbor warned of the possibility that the black and white cat had been run over, saying that the animal had jumped over a wall into an uninhabited house, allegedly with a broken leg.
The and went to the location on Thursday, January 29, but the animal was not found, nor in the adjacent backyards. Days later, the black cat was also no longer seen.
The black and white cat was last seen on Sunday, January 25th. The black cat was last seen on Wednesday, February 4th.
