Uncomfortable with new PSD affiliations, especially on the coast, Correa Jr. is in advanced talks with , but also admits to having been approached by Podemos, PP and Republicans. “My region was clogged with party candidates,” said the deputy.
President of Alesp, deputy André do Prado (PL) is leading the negotiations and is excited about the possible arrival of the deputy in March, during the party window.
“Paulo was uncomfortable [no PSD] and he is a candidate who will have more than 100 thousand votes, being able to help the PL bench even more”, says Prado.
In addition to Correa Jr., the PL is practically agreed with Oseias de Madureira (PSD).
Negotiations take place amid (Republicans).
The vacancy is currently occupied by Felício Ramuth (PSD). Kassab, however, wants to put his own name on the ballot this year. And , after offering it to the PSD in the 2022 election as a way of convincing Kassab to articulate Tarcísio’s campaign on that occasion.
