A police investigation was launched to determine the circumstances, motivation and authorship of the crime; main suspect is murder
The body of Vanessa Lara de Oliveira, aged 23, was found with signs of violence on Tuesday afternoon (10) in a forested area in the Bela Vista neighborhood, in Juatuba, metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte (MG). THE young man had disappeared the day before, said the Civil Police of Minas Gerais (PCMG).
A police investigation was launched to determine the circumstances, motivation and authorship of the crime. The main suspect is murder. “To date, no one has been taken to the police station and a 43-year-old man is being investigated as a possible suspect,” says the police. As soon as it was called, the Civil Police moved official expertise to the crime scene, where traces and information were collected to support the investigation.
At the time, a notebook, a cell phone and a backpack with clothes were seized. The victim’s body was then sent to the Medical-Legal Post, in Betim, to undergo examinations.
“There is already an arrest warrant for him (suspect), in relation to past events and an arrest request will also be forwarded”, says André Luiz Cândido Ribeiro, head of the Civil Police Station in Juatuba. “All possible steps have already been taken in relation to the Civil Police’s steps. And now we are waiting for the expert reports to be prepared”, he concludes.
