GSI of the Presidency corrects ordinance that named ‘So-and-So’ and ‘Cicrano de Tal’

The Management Department of the Executive Secretariat of the Institutional Security Office (GSI) of the Presidency of the Republic published a new version of ordinance 172 in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU), in which he named “Fulano de Tal” and “Cicrano de Tal” as assistants in the Presidential Security Secretariat.

The first version of the document cited “Major of the Brazilian Army (EB) FULANO DE TAL; and the 1st Lieutenant of the Military Police of the Federal District (PMDF) CICRANO DE TAL“, in addition to the 1st Sergeant of the Brazilian Navy Márcio Adriano de Jesus Leite, who was kept in the corrected publication this Tuesday (23).

The two versions of ordinance 172, of June 19, 2026, are signed by the director of the Management Department of the Executive Secretariat of the Institutional Security Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Vinícius Damasceno do Nascimento.

Jovem Pan contacted the GSI advisory after the publication of the first document, on Monday (22), which acknowledged the error and said that the rectification would take place in the next edition from the DOU.

The corrected ordinance still has the footnote that indicates the correction of information: “Republished due to the original being incorrectly published in DOU No. 114, in Section 2, of June 22, 2026, page 3.”

The new document includes the names of the following military personnel from the Brazilian Navy:

  • 2nd Sergeant Francisco Marcone Cordeiro Filho;
  • 2nd Sergeant Thiago Martinez Carneiro do Nascimento;
  • 3rd Sergeant Beatriz Afonso Barbio.

The four mentioned in the document now occupy the Bonus of Representation of the Presidency of the RepublicLevel IV code, and are exempt from those they currently occupy.
