On Boxing Day in 2018, sad news shocked the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Czech actor, singer and presenter Aleš Kubát died at the age of only 30. Viewers knew him from the Czech TV series Nova Ordinácia v rožové záhrad. He was also known to the public from the National Theater in Brno or the Na Rejdišti Theater in Prague, writes the daily.
According to friends, Aleš died of a tumor in the abdominal cavity, which metastasized to the kidneys. In addition to the series Office in the Rose Garden, Aleš Kubát also starred in the film Ghosts directed by Zdenek Troška. Cinorodý was also on the stage. According to the Czech media, everything happened within a few hours. In the morning he enjoyed the Christmas atmosphere with his family, in the afternoon the doctors informed him that he had an extensive tumor and in the evening he died in his mother’s arms.
The turning point occurred shortly before Christmas in 2018. Kubát began to suffer from severe abdominal pains, which at first did not seem serious. However, within a single day, the doctors gave him a devastating diagnosis. Extensive tumor with metastases, with no possibility of treatment. Despite having successfully beaten cancer in the past and believing he was healthy, this time there was no going back. He died at home that same evening, surrounded by his family.
Family and friends said goodbye to the young and talented man on New Year’s Eve in the Church of the Holy Trinity in the village of Pouchobrady. That year was extremely difficult for those close to him. On January 1, 2018, Kubát’s close friend and fellow actor Jakub Zedníček also died († 27), who had a fatal accident on the D1 highway shortly after midnight when the actor was swept away by a car in shock after the accident.
