In Acre, six of the ten most sought after courses on Prouni are in the health area; see which ones

In Acre, the future has a lab coat, a stethoscope and a vocation for caring. Data from the selection process for the first semester of 2026 of the University for All Program (Prouni) shows that six of the ten courses most chosen by Acreans are in the health area. The data was released this Friday (13).

The most popular are Medicine, with 1,678 applicants and only 20 pre-selected, Psychology (536 applicants and 25 pre-selected), Nursing (530 applicants), Pharmacy (442), Nutrition (370) and Biomedicine (338).

In total, 5,436 people from Acre signed up for this edition of Prouni, competing for 1,700 scholarships offered in the state, 1,026 of which were full and 658 partial. In the first call, 987 students were pre-selected. The result was released by the Ministry of Education (MEC), and the second call is scheduled for March 2nd.
