Papeete (Tahiti) – The French Navy has seized 2.4 tons of cocaine from a ship in the overseas territory of French Polynesia in the South Pacific. The French authorities announced on Sunday that 100 packages of cocaine were discovered during the operation in cooperation with the US authorities. The drugs were destroyed on the high seas and the stopped ship was then able to continue its journey with its crew.
