Dance fever will take over Slovakia from Sunday, March 8, 2026. The fans already know all the contestants, presenters and the jury. Czech actor Richard Genzer and professional dancer Laura Arcolinová will join regulars Ján Ďurovčík and Tatiana Drexler in the eleventh series of the popular dance show. The names were revealed by television a few days ago.
Pre Genzera will not have this task novelty. He has been a judge in the Czech version of Let’s Dance for years. “I am looking forward and I am especially glad that I can be at a unique event when the champions take the floor. It’s a great idea and I couldn’t miss it,” admitted the Czech entertainer, choreographer and former dancer.
Reactions of Slovaks to his performance in the latest edition of Let’s Dance vary. One camp is happy and the other does not spare criticism under the post about the judges. “What is he going there for?” wrote a disgruntled Mária. “Richard is great, I’m looking forward to it,” Lucia responded in the next comment. “Only he was missing, but the Czech executioner (I can’t remember the name) was mentioned.” wrote Margita, who was alluding to Zdenek Chlopčík.
“We don’t have people, what would they do? Do we have to pay foreigners? Shame on the Marquis,” Antonia was foaming at the mouth. “He doesn’t know what he’s doing! He’s never experienced hostile Slovaks before! It’s going to be a thorny road. I wish him strong nerves!” the viewer said to Genzer. “I think it’s a good composition. Everyone has something to say about dancing” thinks Tatiana. “Except for that Czech,” commented the new jury of Let’s Dance Marian. “Apart from Richard great,” Jarmila added. “Interesting, like a pilgrimage attraction,” Jozef shared his opinion.
Some viewers miss Adela Vinczeová in the popular TV projectwho over the years has walked the dance floor, hosted the show, and then been a judge. Adela ended suddenly before the jubilee year when she stood up for her husband Viktor Vincze. “I don’t mind, but Adela was excellent,” wrote viewer Margita. “Adele’s humor and witty lines will be missed because she was original,” said Agatha.
A battle of the best of the best
They fight for the title of king and queen of the dance floor Ján Koleník, Nela Pocisková, Jakub Jablonský, Juraj Mokrý, Gabika Marcinková, Vladimír Kobielsky, Kristián Baran and Petra Polnišová, Jana Hospodárová and Zuzana Porubjaková complete the line-up. He will take the microphone in the current year Janka Kovalčiková and will be joined by Adam Bardy, who thus moves from the judge’s seat to the moderator’s post.
