The Slovak Road Administration (SSC) warns of heavy snowfall with visibility up to 100 meters in the Žilina district of Brodno. She stated it on her website zjazdnost.sk.
On the D3 highway Čadca – Svrčinovec and Poľana – Skalité and on the R3 expressway in Orava there is fresh, slushy to compacted snow. It also occurs in some places in the more mountainous areas of central and eastern Slovakia and on mountain passes Huty, Oravská Lesná, Makov, Javorník, Fačkov, Príslop, Donovaly and Podspády.
