She said that her story at Sapucaí began in 2017, as a spectator, and as someone who admires, gets emotional and respects every detail of Carnival.
“Today, being able to be part of this, especially representing such a giant school, is an honor that cannot be put into words. None of this would be possible without the community, without each person who builds the carnival with so much love, sweat and dedication throughout the year. I arrive with a lot of respect, gratitude and an open heart to learn”, he stated.
“May 2026 be just the beginning of a beautiful story in samba. Thank you, Imperatriz, for having me. The dream continues now, even more alive”, he concluded.
The theme chosen by Imperatriz Leopoldinense for 2026 was the singer Ney Matogrosso. The plot, called “Camaleônico”, came to celebrate one of the most important MPB singers, extolling “the work and performance virtuosity of the performer of hits such as ‘Sangue Latino’, ‘Rosa de Hiroshima’, ‘O Vira’, ‘Homem com H’ and ‘Metamorfose Ambulante’”, as the school wrote in a post on social media.
