Former goalkeeper Bruno is back in Acre. He performed this Monday (16), at Campo da Fazendinha, in Rio Branco, and could reinforce the team this Thursday (19), in the first phase of the Copa do Brasil. The player was sentenced to 22 years for the triple murder of model Eliza Samudio.
If Bruno is regularized with the IDB by next Wednesday (18), the player will be available to Vasco-AC coach, Eric Rodrigues, who confirmed the information to ge.
This will be goalkeeper Bruno’s second spell at Acre. In the 2020 Acreano Championship, the player defended Rio Branco-AC in the second round of the competition and also in the Brazilian Championship of Series D. In total, there were 18 games.
In September 2020, the goalkeeper was forced to wear an electronic ankle bracelet during his stay in the state. After an appeal, he obtained an injunction authorizing him to remove the equipment before training and games.
The player played for Flamengo and played for the Brazilian national team. Bruno was arrested in 2013, three years after the crime for which he was sentenced to 22 years, and has been on parole since January 2023.
