St. Pölten – After the local elections in St. Pölten on January 25th, a first-time alliance between the SPÖ and the Greens in Lower Austria’s state capital is fixed. A corresponding ORF report was confirmed to the APA after the party committees on Monday evening. No further details have been given for the time being; a press event is planned for Wednesday. The smallest possible two-party coalition holds 23 of the 42 seats in town hall. The inaugural meeting of the local council is scheduled to take place on February 23rd.
