A man identified only as Marcelo, aged 49, was found dead this Sunday morning (15), inside the bathroom of a residence located on Rua José Joaquim de Lima, in the Eldorado neighborhood, in the municipality of . The case was registered by authorities as finding a body.
According to information provided to, the police were called at around 9:30 am to respond to the incident in an alley with access from the main road, close to a well-known bar in the region.

At the scene, the applicant reported that her father had arrived home around 8 am, ordered coffee and then went to the bathroom. As he took longer than usual, the daughter decided to check what was happening and found the man lying next to a water tank, with his head submerged.

Given the situation, the Civil Police Technical Expertise was called to carry out the usual procedures and investigate the circumstances of the death. The body will be subjected to cadaveric examinations which should indicate the cause of death.
The Civil Police will monitor the case.
