Slovenia is heading for a massive shift to the right in the election

Ljubljana – Slovenia is heading for a shift to the right in parliamentary elections in a month. Prime Minister Robert Golob’s liberal Freedom Movement (GS) is likely to finish well behind the conservative Democratic Party (SDS) of long-time opposition leader Janez Janša, which has a good chance of a center-right majority. The performance of the new right-wing populist party Resni.ca (Truth), which takes a radical anti-system stance, is eagerly awaited.
