The rain began to fall again in the middle of the program and changed the course of the night. To prevent them from being harmed, as happened in 2025, the organization decided to postpone the presentations that had not yet entered the avenue.
According to Klowsbey Viegas, president of the Garibaldi Brasil Foundation (FGB), there was a prior agreement between those responsible for the blocks so that no one would be harmed if the weather closed again.
“We had an agreement so that no one could disturb or harm the block parade, as happened last year due to the rain. It was agreed that, if it wasn’t raining at the entrance to the first block, the parade would continue as normal with all three”, he explained.
The block managed to perform practically without interference.
“When Unidos do Fuxico came in, they only caught that little girl at the end and managed to put on a perfect parade. But then the rain returned with more intensity. So, in order not to harm the other two groups, we decided to postpone.”
With the definition, the performances of Sambazinha and 6 é D+ were rescheduled for this Tuesday, at the same time previously scheduled.
“The agreement was this: we postponed it until the next day, Tuesday, at 6:30 pm. First comes Sambazinha and then block 6 is D+”, confirmed Klowsbey.
