Argentina’s main trade union federation called for a general strike on Monday the 16th on the day the Chamber will debate President Javier Milei’s labor reform, already approved by the Senate.
The project, which could be debated by deputies this week or next, reduces compensation for dismissals, allows payments in kind, extends the working day to 12 hours and limits the right to strike, among other provisions.
The transport workers’ confederation promised a land, air and river strike.
