A drunk man was driving a Mustang with a woman on top of the hood when stopped by the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM)in Ponta Grossa, Paraná, in the early hours of Sunday, the 15th.

According to the Civil Police of Paraná, GCM teams were patrolling the streets when they saw the scene and approached the driver, who showed signs of drunkenness.

He refused to take a breathalyzer test and was taken to the police station.

“In her statement, the woman said that she had voluntarily climbed onto the hood of the vehicle with the intention of making her ex-partner stop to talk,” said delegate Itamar Casabranca, from the Civil Police.

According to testimony, the vehicle was traveling at a low speed. and the woman managed to get out when the car stopped, after the GCM arrived.

“The injury examination was not carried out at the victim’s request and, to date, there has been no evidence of injuries resulting from the driver’s conduct,” said the delegate. “In relation to the crime of bodily harm, there were no elements left to act in the act, which is why the incident was forwarded to the police station in the area for further investigation.”

The man will be charged with the crime of drunk driving, subject to bail in the amount of R$3,000.

The judiciary granted provisional release to the driver and the vehicle was detained by police.
