International press reveals CGI effects in “The Secret Agent”

The director Kleber Mendonça Filho shared on X (formerly Twitter) a video from CG Channel, a media outlet in the United States, which shows how the CGI effects for the film “The Secret Agent” were made.

The “Computer Generated Images” technique (Computer Generated Imageryin English) is used to add scenes, special effects or change scenarios or characters in audiovisual pieces. “What a pleasure to work with VFX, Brom and McMurphy,” said the director.

The video shows that the technique he helped with the placement of cars from the time in which the film takes place, in addition to making the second face of Dona Sebastiana’s cat.

About “The Secret Agent”

Set in Recife in 1977, the title follows Marcelo, a teacher who runs away from a mysterious past and returns to Recife in search of peace, but soon realizes that the city is far from being the refuge he is looking for.
