There are demanding works that push every interpreter to instrumental limits. However, sometimes this also happens where it would not have been expected – for example at Martha Argerich’s chamber music concert on Monday. For her final evening as a focus artist of the Vienna Music Association, she invited good friends as guests; Together with the cellist Mischa Maisky, the evening began in a very sensitive style.
