The media earthquake caused by the declassification of the files of the Epstein trama continues to show its consequences. Although slowly and with still diffuse effects, if anything is allowing the publication of these documents, it is to identify those people who for years maintained a relationship with Jeffrey Epstein before his second admission to prison and subsequent suicide.
And although the vast majority of those who lived with the New York magnate and pedophile continue to live “quietly” in this storm, there are others like the prince Andrew of England and former Norwegian Prime Minister Thorbjørn Jagland, whose image is deteriorating much more significantly. And even, cases like that of Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, former head of DP Ports World; or that of the economist Larry Summersexpelled from the American Economic Association, who have been removed from their respective positions for their ties to the late sex offender.
Now, to this group of magnates, politicians and personalities from the upper echelons of society is added the name of Tom Pritzker. At 75 years old, the billionaire and, until this Monday, executive president of Hyatt Hotelshad been at the head of one of the most important hotel companies in the United States since 2004. However, after revealing his relationship with Epstein and his partner Ghislaine Maxwell, he chose this Monday to present his resignation and disassociate your name from the institution.
Through a letter sent to the company’s board of directors where he resigned from his position, Pritzker also admitted that he will not run for re-election with the board of directors of Hyatt Hotels. Thus, in this same statement “deeply” regretted having maintained such ties with Epstein as with Maxwell; and, therefore, he asserted that “good administration also means protecting Hyatt.”
Along these lines, the former president of this hotel company apologized for having exercised ““terrible judgment in maintaining contact with them”and admitted that “there is no excuse” for not having distanced themselves from those individuals sooner.

According to the latest declassified documents, Pritzker’s relationship with Epstein was more than usual, with visits and meetings with both of them. Some of them, even in the Epstein residence in Manhattan. The complicity seemed such that their contacts were constantly maintained even after 2008when the New York magnate and pedophile was sentenced to 18 months in prison for forcing a minor under 14 years of age to become a prostitute.
In fact, ten years after that sentence, both had a conversation by email in which Epstein asked Pritzker to help his girlfriend, Karyna Shuliakto organize a trip to Southeast Asia; in which, Shuliak admitted in another email, he was going to search for “a new girlfriend for Jeffrey”.
With all this, Pritzker’s resignation as head of Hyatt Hotels seeks to act as a firewall and prevent his relationship with Epstein from affecting both the institution and his entire family. Among his relatives, according to ‘The New York Times’, are two cousins active in American politics: the Democratic governor of Illinois, JB Pritzker; y Penny Pritzker, president of the board of governors of Harvard University and secretary of commerce during Barack Obama’s second presidency.
