In the fight against illegal content on the Internet, Spain is toughening its tone towards the big technology companies. As Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez announced, the public prosecutor’s office has been ordered to open an investigation against the platforms X (formerly Twitter), Meta and TikTok. The accusation: The networks are said to have enabled or promoted the spread of AI-generated depictions of child abuse.
