Wiederkehr invites coalition partners to discussions about curriculum reform

Vienna – Neos Education Minister Christoph Wiederkehr’s plans for a reform of the curricula and pilot tests for six-year elementary schools have caused considerable displeasure among the coalition partner ÖVP in recent weeks. Secretary General Nico Marchetti criticized the APA for proposals that had no “sensible substance.” In a conversation with Marchetti and SPÖ education spokesman Heinrich Himmer at the beginning of March, Wiederkehr wants to “clear up misunderstandings”.
