The ‘1st Company’ program ends this Friday, February 20th, and for this reason this Wednesday (18th), the recruits were entitled to the last Kickboxing class with guest monitor Dina Pedro, who was present several times throughout these weeks of the program.
In the end, the instructor decided to end with an emotional speech, showing gratitude for the recruits’ efforts, and most of the competitors couldn’t contain their emotion.
“When they invited me, the objective was to show that this sport can be practiced by everyone and that it is not only practiced by ‘troublemakers’ and that there are all types of people practicing it, but fortunately and with great pride I say that 90% of the people who practice combat sports are good people”he said.
At the end, Dina Pedro, who was recruited from the ‘1st Company’ in 2005, ended with a thank you: “It was a pleasure to be here with you, it was a pleasure to feel your commitment to each training session I gave you. And I have to thank you, thank you”it ended.
