Washington – Climate protection organizations in the USA are suing against plans by President Donald Trump’s government to quickly declare greenhouse gases unproblematic and thus overturn a central legal basis of American climate protection policy. The alliance of 17 environmental and health organizations accuses the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and its head Lee Zeldin of acting unlawfully in the lawsuit, as the environmental organization Earthjustice announced.
