Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, in an interview with the North American broadcaster CBS, had already admitted a possible meeting on Thursday, in Geneva.
Oman’s Foreign Minister confirmed this Sunday that Iran and the United States will have a new round of negotiations on Thursday, in Geneva.
“I am pleased to confirm that negotiations between the United States and Iran are now scheduled for Thursday in Geneva, with a positive desire to take another step towards finalizing the agreement,” said Badr al-Busaidi on the X social network.
“I believe that when we meet, probably this Thursday in Geneva, we will be able to work on these points, prepare a good text and quickly reach an agreement,” said Araghchi.
Oman has mediated negotiations between the two countries.
