Iran threatens to retaliate even in the event of a “limited” US attack

In the conflict with the USA, Iran has warned the government in Washington against any kind of attack. Tehran would also respond to a “limited attack” by the US like any other state “with full force as part of its right to self-defense,” Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei told reporters on Monday. EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas warned of a new war in the region and urged a diplomatic solution.
