Hytalo Santos was sentenced to 11 years and four months in prison for sexual exploitation of minors in content published on social networks. As for the husband, Israel Nata Vicente, known as Euro, was sentenced to 8 years and 10 months. They also have to pay 500 thousand reaisthe equivalent of 82 thousand euros, for moral damages.
Judge Antônio Rudimacy Firmino de Sousa maintained the preventive detention of the defendants, claiming that the grounds that justified the measure remain unchanged.
According to Globo, the sentence describes that the couple placed the minors in an artificial and controlled environmentcomparing it to a reality showto make money. Young people were exposed to situations considered extreme riskcom alcoholic beverages and neglect regarding food and schooling.
Judge Antônio Rudimacy Firmino de Sousa also points to the vulnerability of victims, who he considers to be unable to understand or resist illicit practices.
