According to investigators, two of the influencer’s addresses were targets in this operation
The São Paulo Civil Police, through DEIC, Department of Criminal Investigations, carried out Operation End of the Fable this Tuesday. Among the main targets is MC Negão Original, whose name is João Vitor Ribeiro. He has more than 2.3 million followers on just one social network.
According to investigators, two of his addresses were targets in this operation, which carried out 120 search and seizure warrants, 53 arrest warrants, and until the last update, 12 people were arrested. MC Negão Oficial is considered a fugitive by the courts.
According to the investigation, he worked to launder money through clandestine bets, making various financial transactions. The scams carried out were the INSS scam, the fake lawyer scam and the so-called ghost hand scam, as well as fraud with cloned cards, fake telephone exchanges and the use of bets and fintechs to clone PIX keys.
So far, the police have managed to identify the financial movement of R$100 million. The Column was unable to contact MC Negão Original’s defense.
