Entrepreneurs access R$734 million in credit with support from Fampe Mulher

Businesses led by women accessed R$734 million in credit in 2025, guaranteed by Sebrae’s Micro and Small Business Guarantee Fund (Fampe). This is a Sebrae initiative that offers up to 100% guarantee for loans to companies with female leadership.

Of the total granted, 84% were allocated to micro and small enterprises (MSEs), 65% to small enterprises (EPPs), 19% to micro enterprises (MEs). In the case of individual microentrepreneurs (MEIs), the percentage is 16%.

Special operations last until March 2027 and are considered, for this rule, companies in which women have a majority shareholding, or in which women, even if they are minority partners, act as managing partners. “Sebrae has acted in a strategic and comprehensive way to strengthen female entrepreneurship, and facilitating access to credit is essential for this”, says Georgia Nunes, manager of female entrepreneurship, diversity and inclusion at Sebrae Nacional.

Good payers

About to complete one year of operation, Fampe Mulher records a default rate of around 2.4%, a rate significantly lower than the average of 8% observed in the market among small businesses led by women without Sebrae guarantee.

According to a survey by Sebrae, late operations are concentrated within 30 days after maturity, and between 60 and 90 days, the default percentage drops even further.

Opportunities

The differentiated credit opportunities were publicized during the Sebrae Delas Caravans, which have been traveling the country for around a year. In the events, which continue in 2026, entrepreneurs can access conditions to obtain 100% endorsement. On the 24th and 25th of February, the initiative passes through Campo Grande (MS), as part of the Delas Day 2026 program, with free entry to Bosque Expo. “The Sebrae Delas Caravana is the ideal place for entrepreneurs to clarify doubts so that more women can realize their dream of opening and strengthening their companies”, says Georgia Nunes, from Sebrae Nacional.

According to a survey carried out by Sebrae, the Southeast (33%), South (32%) and Northeast (28%) regions represent 93% of credit granted with a Fampe Mulher guarantee. The Central-West (4%) and North (3%) regions complete the distribution across the country. Furthermore, more than 60% of the total credit released with Fampe Mulher guarantee was in the states of Paraná (19%), São Paulo (17%), Minas Gerais (13%), Santa Catarina (8.5%) and Bahia (8%).
