A traffic accident involving a passenger train and a passenger car at an unprotected railway crossing in the village of Drienovská Nová Ves in the district of Prešov claimed two lives. TASR was confirmed by the operations officer of the operations center of the Regional Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Service in Prešov.
As Martina Fröhlich Činovská from the Operation Center of the emergency medical service told TASR, the emergency line operator sent two crews of the emergency medical service to the scene. “Unfortunately, the doctor declared two people dead,” said Fröhlich Činovská. Traffic is currently interrupted in the section Drienovská Nová Ves – Ličartovce. The Slovak Railway Company informs about it on the social network.
